About my Tarot Journey...
I must admit: A couple of years ago, before the tarot bug bit me, I pretty much refused to touch a card at all. It just felt too “fortune telling” and “gypsy” to me, and I said, I’m a serious astrologer, this just isn’t for me! But then Uranus came along, transiting my 9th house and instigating an irresistible, overall spiritual revolution, with many new interests strongly emerging such as the tarot and oracles, crystals, numerology, chakras, runes, etc. Step by step, starting out with just one classical RWS mini deck and the Romance Angels oracle cards, I discovered the magic of card reading. The tarot isn’t as ancient a divinatory discipline as astrology, which dates back over 2,000 years to Babylonian times, but it has been around for quite a while, since about 1440.
I started studying the tarot online at Hay House (amazing & fun teachers!) and later learned even more in renowned tarot expert Richard Knight’s masterclass, based on his 40 years of real life experience. Of course, as an Aries you always like to throw a bit of DiY into whatever you’re doing! I now use the cards as a separate way to connect with higher guidance, but it really is all about the symbolism which connects the cards to astrological constellations. And while the tarot is traditionally rather seen as a popular tool for divination and not so much related to in-depth psychological and analytical work, both methods are able to provide guidance for our personal growth and place us as the operant power in the centre of our own universe, and I really love and appreciate that!​
Tarot is best used for guidance and clarity and mirrors your vibes at a given moment. Energy is always subject to change, because everything is always in flow. You have free will to say No to your current path and consciously choose something else, which will create an energy shift and new likely outcome.
