Andrew Mountbatten formerly known as His Royal Highness –With his reputation in tatters, a gloomy future lies ahead.

Since 2014, there has been considerable controversy surrounding Prince Andrew's connection to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and the serious allegations made against the prince by one of the human trafficking victims. The Queen was not amused! Despite a damning TV interview that only made matters worse, things remained superficially calm for a fairly long time until the scandal resurfaced in October 2025, dragging ex-wife Sarah Ferguson and the entire royal family into the maelstrom…

IN FRONT OF AND BEHIND THE SCENES

Outwardly, the ex-prince always seems to have been a joker and braggart type of person, who loved to prank people in his youth (Uranus in House 1, Leo Ascendant). Among his schoolmates, Andrew was known as ‘the sniggerer’ because of his risqué jokes, which he himself found hilarious. He earned a second nickname, ‘Randy Andy’ (randy = sexually eager/desirous), through romantic liaisons with a number of different women. People even wondered whether he was ‘training to be a professional playboy’ before his career in the Navy! Behind the funny, juvenile façade, Andrew's AC ruler, the Sun in the 8th house and in opposition to Pluto, reveals a different side to his character. Exercising power and control are themes of this combination, as are sexuality, taboos, victim-perpetrator scenarios, potential abuse or forbidden/ unscrupulous actions to save one's own skin. In addition, his Scorpio Moon and Sun ruler Neptune in the 4th house in Scorpio and square the AC seem to act as true masters of secrecy.

ANDY ON ROYAL DEVIATIONS

The former Duke of York is accused of having sex three times in 2001 with Virginia Giuffre, then 17, via Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking ring. Andrew insists that the widely circulated photo of him with the girl is fake. He says he has absolutely no memory of ever meeting Virginia. What does his chart say about sexual matters in general? His conjunction of the ‘erotic planets’ Venus and Mars makes sexual contacts and experiences significant and indicates a strong drive in this direction, especially since these planets also rule his main axis MC/IC. There are reports that Andrew once ordered 40 women to his hotel room within just four days – an impressive feat for the former Royal Highness. Capricorn isn’t known for erotic excesses, but who says that such activities have to be conspicuous? According to several sources, Andrew had planned very generous leisure time for himself during a tax-funded trip to Thailand for the King's birthday and, instead of official accommodation, chose a luxury hotel where he frolicked with the ladies. Jupiter, as ruler of the 5th house, which governs the themes of lust, eroticism and pleasure, has a penchant for escapades in its own house and sign. And Jupiter's sextile to the Sun shows that Andrew knew how to make excellent use of his opportunities.

A royal author describes the fallen prince as a porn and video game addict, a lazy, very arrogant man with no moral boundaries, who exploited his role as British trade ambassador (MC ruler Mars in the 6th house Capricorn square MC, Saturn ruler of the 6th house sextile Mercury ruler of the 3rd house) to line his pockets and chase women (Mars/Venus, also Moon sextile Mars). The Capricorn planets under Saturn's direction in the 6th house act behind the façade of an official function and work, so to speak. Both Jeffrey Epstein and his girlfriend and accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell have Venus conjunct Mars in their natal charts, which explains their shared affinity for the subject. Andrews' enterprising Venus/Mars position expresses the ‘sex and money’ side of his energy, and perhaps it is thanks to the resilient Capricorn influence that he has been able to delay his final downfall by almost 15 years since the critical reporting surrounding his controversial friendship with Epstein began. He settled a civil lawsuit brought against him by Virginia Giuffre in 2021 out of court for an undisclosed sum and steadfastly denied any wrongdoing. But could he still face criminal prosecution in the end?

CURRENT EVENTS

As early as 2022, while the Queen was still with us, Andrew's controversial friendship with Epstein was in the crossfire of the nation and the media, and he lost many of his military ranks. Since October 2025, he has also lost his princely title and is no longer allowed to call himself Vice Admiral. His brother King Charles stripped him of all his remaining titles and, on top of that, threw him out of his long-term residence: Andrew must leave the Royal Lodge in Windsor, where he lives with Fergie in mutual support despite their divorce, and move to Norfolk. What do his stars say about the current developments? Transit Uranus definitely has him in its grip, as it is already (at the start of November) squaring the Sun for the 2nd time. The Sun rules the Ascendant, while Uranus rules the Descendant, which is why this aspect is a doubly important conjunction. It's about major changes, turmoil and conflicts with those around him and the public, where he becomes a radical outcast (Uranus) – everything collapses, no one wants him anymore. He loses prestige, his home and his possessions (the Sun also rules the 2nd house!). In the 10th house/ on the cusp of the 11th house, Uranus calls into question his integrity and public role, the approval of the public, and his social circles and allies.

A DUKE AND DUCHESS WITHOUT A HOME OR TITLE

Andrew had known Sarah Ferguson since childhood and had occasionally met her at polo matches. The synastry between the two is quite good, but if an astrologer chose the wedding date of 23 July 1986 with a void-of-course Moon AND Mercury in retrograde, they should be fired on the spot! After a seemingly happy marriage, which produced daughters Beatrice and Eugenie, the couple separated amicably in 1992. Andrew was away a lot as an officer and Fergie would have liked to have had a job, which caused problems. The divorce was finalised on 30 May 1996. With Andrew's expulsion, Fergie, who benefited from Jeffrey Epstein's financial support and was often a guest at his homes, now also loses her accommodation. She is said to be pretty unwell, and her last days at the lodge are passing in gloom and isolation. Transit Saturn is approaching its third square to natal Saturn and will already be transiting over her natal Moon in April 2026, just like during her divorce from Andrew in 1996. In 2027, Saturn will form oppositions to Fergie's Sun and Mars, which in turn are sitting on Andrew's IC.

Her Sun on his IC explains their long-lasting cohabitation and almost 30-year friendship, but this phase indicates a new level of separation for the former dream couple. Transit Saturn is currently (mid-November) exactly square to their (relationship chart) Sun in Sagittarius, reflecting the sad state of the relationship. As it enters Aries again, and at the same time transits the relationship DC, it also forms a square to the MC/IC and the above-mentioned square to Sarah's natal Saturn. From the 7th (relationship chart) house, transit Saturn then squares their Saturn in the 4th house of Capricorn, shortly after its conjunction with Sarah's natal Moon. Although Sarah will be allowed to move into Andrew's new private accommodation, she apparently does not want to live there. It now seems clear that this amicable cohabitation will finally come to an end after a full Saturn cycle is completed.

KICKED TO THE CURB

In the past, it was common practice to send people who had fallen out of favour into exile. Will Andrew soon face the same fate? In fact, the sheikhs in Abu Dhabi have already offered him a palace! Immediately after transiting Uranus squares his natal Pluto in April 2026, transiting Jupiter activates the notorious Venus/Mars duo in June, and in July, transiting Saturn is almost exactly square natal Saturn. During the last Saturn/Saturn square (2010 from Libra), Andrew allegedly severed all ties with Epstein at a final meeting between the two friends in New York. However, in October 2025 an email emerged that he had sent him more than two months later. During the Saturn conjunction (= Saturn Return) in November 2019, the fateful BBC interview took place, which convinced no one of his innocence. Something is going to catch up with him again, because when Saturn shows up, one must admit one's deeds and, if necessary, take the fall. Will transiting Saturn reaching the MC in May 2027 finally herald the moment of truth, when he will actually and inevitably be held to account? Whether banishment into exile looms or not, only one thing is pretty certain – ‘Randy Andy’ is guaranteed to have long since stopped sniggering.
